We are in the final rundown to Christmas and that means there is just enough time to still get in those presents for the nature lover. We have put together a package of gifts for the youngest explorer to the most experienced of naturalists to make sure you are covered this Christmas. The only thing we can't do is wrap them for you.

Who could pass up on the opportunity of a good book? From field guides to nature writing, Waterstones has everything you need.

More important than sitting reading about it is going out and experiencing it. For this, you are going to need appropriate clothing and boots. Decathlon has a range of affordable options suited to everything the British weather can throw at you.

And for a range of outdoor gear as well as maps and navigation equipment, check out Ordnance Survey.

When you find that bird, you will want to observe it in more detail, and that is where binoculars and telescopes come in. Binocular Base offers a range of optical equipment.

And don't forget you can watch that wildlife from the comfort of your own living room with the range of food, feeders and nestboxes provided by Garden Wildlife Direct.

We hope this has given you some ideas. And don't forget, they can be used for birthdays and special occasions as well. This could be the last blog post before Christmas, so here is wishing everybody a very merry Christmas and we look forward to seeing you in the New Year. And finally, if you're reading this very late, you can still buy one of our gift cards right up until the last minute. I suppose you could even do it on Christmas morning.
